LAW 15/2015, OF JULY 2, ON VOLUNTARY JURISDICTION.

 

The new Voluntary Jurisdiction Law Law 15/2015, of July 2, introduces important novelties which substantially affect the field of Family Law, implying a significant dejudicialization of family conflicts.

The determination of filiation, foster care, adoption, the exercise of parental authority, absence and declaration of death, the dispensation of prohibitions to contract marriage, the designation of executors, the acceptance and repudiation of inheritance, are affected. also affecting interests and affairs of minors or people with “judicially modified capacity” such as appointment of tutors or curators among other aspects.
